Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and Supportive Agents ("Supportive Agents", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the Supportive Agents platform, websites, APIs and embeddable widgets (together, the "Service") for building and deploying AI agents trained on your own knowledge. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The service

Supportive Agents lets you create AI chatbots ("agents") that answer questions using knowledge you provide — by uploading documents (such as PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, XLSX, PPTX) or by crawling a website. Your content is split into chunks, converted into embeddings and indexed so your agent can retrieve and answer from it. You can then embed an agent on any website with a script tag, connect it to WhatsApp, or call it via the API.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organisation.

3. Accounts & security

You need an account to use Supportive Agents. You can sign up with an email and password or with Google. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. Each account receives its own private workspace; you may only access content in workspaces you own or are authorised to use.

4. Your content & licence

You retain all rights to the documents, website content, instructions and other material you add to Supportive Agents ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, chunk, embed, index and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and to your end users. We do not use Your Content to train shared or third-party AI models.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use Your Content, and that Your Content and your use of the Service do not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Supportive Agents to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload malware, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, harassing or harmful;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure or other users' data;
  • build agents that impersonate others, collect sensitive personal data without a lawful basis, or deliberately mislead people;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties except through the agents and embeds the Service is designed to create.

You are responsible for the agents you build and how they interact with your end users, including providing any notices and obtaining any consents your use requires.

6. AI-generated answers

Agents generate answers using AI models together with your knowledge base. While Supportive Agents is designed to answer from your content and to reduce fabricated information, responses may still be inaccurate, incomplete or otherwise unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing answers and for how your agents are used with your visitors. Do not rely on AI output for professional, legal, medical, financial or other high-stakes decisions without independent verification.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Supportive Agents and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted.

8. Third-party services

Supportive Agents relies on third-party providers to function — including AI model providers (the message text and retrieved context are processed by these providers to generate an answer), Google for optional sign-in, and WhatsApp / Meta if you connect an agent to WhatsApp. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider's terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Plans, fees & limits

Supportive Agents is free to get started — you can build, train and embed an agent at no cost. Free workspaces may be subject to usage limits (for example, a monthly message allowance), which we may adjust over time. If paid plans are offered, their pricing, limits and billing terms will be shown before you subscribe.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that AI answers will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Supportive Agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Supportive Agents harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your agents, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You can delete your workspace and account at any time from Settings → Danger zone, which permanently removes your agents, documents, embeddings and conversations. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or legal exposure for us or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licences you granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability and indemnities) will continue to apply.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continuing to use Supportive Agents after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
